Details
Made almost four years ago, but clearly a guitar that just hasn't seen any significant playing time, at least not yet. For those who may not follow all the specs on Martin guitar models, the first thing you notice on a D-35 (compared to a D-28, for instance) is the three-piece back and binding on the fingerboard. But the difference in what you hear is from the fact that the D-35 has thinner top bracing (1/4" versus 5/16") compared to the D-28 and other Martin Dreadnought models. The result is a warmer, more open tone, especially for those who use light gauge strings instead of medium gauge.
This example has an especially nice top with fine, even grain, and the rosewood has straight dark grain. Comes with the original Martin case in equal condition, case key in the pocket.
