This new Martin Concert Ukulele is a great example of how seriously Martin is taking the revival of their classic ukes. This model may have austere aesthetics but it more than makes up for its plain appearance with a well-balanced tone. We’re big fans of concert ukes here at Gryphon, and find that they have a lot of the snap and crackle of soprano, with some of the mellow sweetness of a tenor. This concert uke is lightly built and it responds well to a light touch if you play fingerstyle but you can also really dig in if you’re a more rhythmic strummer. The top, back, sides and neck are crafted in Nazareth, PA from FSC®-certified mahogany and the fingerboard and bridge are made from FSC®-certified ebony. This ukulele has an applied dovetail mahogany neck for extra stability and its fitted with geared, lightweight Ratio tuners that help you to get in tune quickly and accurately. Includes a padded gig bag.
