Handcrafted in North Carolina using only locally sourced hardwoods and sustainable wood alternatives, Pisgah’s Rambler is a fantastic-sounding banjo that is perfect for new-school players looking for an old-time sound. This banjo comes outfitted with a dobson-styled brass tone ring, which adds plenty of resonance and sustain, but without the harsh metallic sound found on other types of metal rings. For this banjo, we opted to go with a spun stainless-steel rim because it adds a lot of complexity to the sound and is simply beautiful to look at. For a completely hand-crafted, American-made Banjo, the Rambler is at a very enviable price point, making it one of the most affordable high-quality instruments currently on the market!
