Details
The Rick Turner Electroline was made in 2023 and it’s in excellent, lightly played condition. The Electroline was designed by Rick Turner and features his unique twist on the classic three single-coil pickup guitar. This model was inspired by Alligator, the 1955 Fender Strat that Turner modified for Jerry Garcia in the early 1970s and features some updates that Turner has been contemplating for decades.
This example has an ash body, a maple neck with a royal blackwood fretboard, a 25.5" string scale design and a hardtail bridge. It’s fitted with Turner's own Fat Single Coils, which have a rich, clear tone that is somewhere between Fender Strat pickups and Gibson’s P-90s. It has a five way selector switch and a volume control and a single tone tone control. The third knob controls the level of the onboard, switchable 9-volt boost circuit. Like all of Rick Turner’s designs, the Electroline is capable of a wider range of tones than you might expect.
