Details
The Fender Elites preceded the Ultras as the top-of-the-line production models of their day. This iteration is a take on the classic Jazz Bass platform, but comes with the 4th Generation Noiseless pickups from Fender, active electronics, meaningful contours that make it easy to play high up on the neck. When engaged, the active circuitry gives you the ability to add or subtract treble, mids, and bass, independently from the standard tone control.
This model from 2017 is finished in a natural polyurethane to show the nice grain of the ash body. The neck is a very comfortable C to D shape with a bound fingerboard with a 9.5”-14” radius. It even has very stylish ‘70s block inlays.
This example is in fantastic shape for being almost ten years old. It is in all original condition, and cosmetically, there is hardly any playwear that can be seen with the naked eye. Even the plastic is still on the pickguard and battery cover. If you’re looking for a versatile Jazz Bass with vintage and modern tones, this is a great option. It comes with its original Fender molded plastic hardshell case.
