This was a special order and it has a number of special features. For one it's labeled as a 0002, but the gold plated tuners and pearl soundhole rosette are features you see on the Collings Style 3 models. It also has figured koa binding, instead of celluloid. The big deal for players, however, is the short string scale since virtually all 12-fret 000 models have the long scale of the Martin originals (and Martin's later reissues). The result is 00 size playability with the bigger, warmer response of the larger 000, especially in the bass response.
