Here's a tone woods combination you don't see very often, but Santa Cruz did a number of "California woods" guitars years ago and a redwood soundboard on walnut back & sides produces a warm, balanced tone in this example. Light fingerscuffs to the pickguard and some very minor fret wear in 1st position tell us this has been played some, but you'll find new guitars with this much playing wear from being tested in a showroom. We don't normally think of a guitar soundboard with natural finish as being very exciting visually, but this redwood has great variety in grain and color, and it's almost luminescent.
