Details
The CJFG 1957 part of Creek’s “Time Machine Series,” and it’s a slope-shouldered dreadnought the does an excellent job of capturing the look, feel, and tone of the acoustic guitars coming out of Kalamazoo in the late 1950s. This example is based on a guitar built in 1957 and it has a torrefied Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides and a Madagascar rosewood fretboard with rolled edges, a concession to contemporary building style that increases playing comfort. This guitar is lightly built, much like the guitar in the late 1950s, and it has that same, clear, crisp tone we all know and love. If you’re looking a guitar that expertly blends vintage character, modern reliability, and thoughtful vintage aesthetics, the Creek CJFG 1957 deserves a look. Includes a Boblen hardshell case.
