This D-16E was made in Nazareth, Pennsylvania in 2023. It’s in excellent structural condition, with just a hint of fret wear. It has a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany sides and back. Thanks to the tried-and-true Spruce/Mahogany tone wood pairing, this guitar delivers a robust, punchy tone with an emphasis on a clear fundamental. Unlike most Dreadnoughts, the D-16E has the same body depth as a 000. The shallow depth tightens up the bass frequencies, resulting in a guitar with more balance and clarity than a full-depth dreadnought, making it the perfect choice for players looking to play amplified on stage. It’s also a bit more comfortable to play sitting down. Includes the original padded gig bag, which is in equally clean condition.
