Details
Martin’s T1 StreetMaster Tenor Ukulele is made from solid mahogany, which gives it a slightly mellower, sweeter sound than koa. (Most of the ukuleles that Martin built since they started making them in 1915 have been mahogany.) The StreetMaster’s satin finish is very thin with the stain on the top partially rubbed off to simulate wear but there are no added nicks, dings, scratches, or that kind of stuff done to make it look like somebody knocked it around. The tenor body offers extra volume and a bit more room to play, making it a great fit for beginners, seasoned uke players, or guitarists transitioning to ukulele.
