There's just something about these short string scale Dreadnoughts that treats both your ears and your hands with a little extra respect. This Santa Cruz slope-shoulder version, with its European spruce soundboard and double-tapered bracing, responds to the lightest touch yet still offers lots of headroom when you need to push it. Try it with light gauge strings for the easiest left-hand effort you're likely to find in a full-sized Dreadnought, but even with medium gauge your hands will thank you and chords and fills that challenged your finger-span will be far more manageable.
