The Yellowstone has been a benchmark for Weber Mandolins for years. What’s included in this more premium package is a Triple A Grade Sitka Spruce top, a full gloss body, top and back binding, and a fingerboard extension. This example is finished in a lovely blonde nitro on the top, back, and sides, and is perfectly complimented by tortoise binding. The tone is bright and punchy, with a throaty chop. The playability on this model is a standout feature, and is easy to play all the way up the neck. It is very clean for an 11-year-old instrument, and has the normal, extremely light wear to the finish here and there. The frets are in great shape too, with almost not wear to them at all. It comes with the classic gray Weber hardshell case.
