Details
Weber’s Rawhide Aesthetic Package was introduced under Bruce Weber and continues to this day. This example comes from the Bruce Weber era and was built in Logan, Montana. The Rawhide models are known for their unmistakable Western aesthetic, featuring half-herringbone purfling on the top, ivoroid top and fingerboard binding, and a Faded Leather Burst finish in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. This mandolin is very clean overall, showing only a few light surface scratches to the right of the fingerboard extension, some wear just above the bridge, and a scratch on the right side near the back seam. It plays very easily and shows almost no fret wear. Tonally, it has a bubbly, lively sound with excellent dynamics and a strong chop that will definitely cut through in a jam setting. This would make a great mandolin for jamming, gigging, or at-home playing for anyone looking for a quality F-style. It comes with its original gray Weber hardshell case.
