The braided mandolin straps from Lakota Leathers are crafted from Elk hide because it offers a better combination of strength and suppleness than any other leather. The length is 43" with three adjustment holes at the strap button end and a loop at the other end. The mandolin straps from Lakota Leathers are made on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, an Oglala Sioux reservation in South Dakota.
