This Kanile’a K-1 Baritone was made in Hawaii in 2019 and is very clean. It features Kanile’a’s deluxe gloss finish over a stunning set of Premium Grade koa on the top, back, and sides. While baritone ukuleles are tuned like the top four strings of a guitar (D-G-B-E), they retain all the charm of a traditional uke while offering a deeper, fuller voice that’s especially appealing to guitarists and singers.
Kanile’a has become one of Hawaii’s premier ukulele builders thanks to their consistently excellent craftsmanship, and this K-1 is a great example of why. This one is in great shape, with just the slightest amount of play wear here and there. It has a rich, full tone with plenty of volume, a nicely balanced bass-to-treble response. It includes a hardshell case.
