Details
You'd never guess this Maple Blossom model was made more than 40 years ago, thanks to high quality construction and parts combined with excellent care there's no sign of weathering or wear.
Although not as ornately inlaid as more costly Deering models, the Maple Blossom was given all the best parts throughout, including a 3-ply maple shell and heavy cast bronze flathead tone ring.
The only change to this example was the addition of a Fults tailpiece, which is far more sturdy and offers an almost unlimited range of adjustment. These tailpieces are not cheap and represent a significant upgrade.
There's some light surface wear to the back of the resonator, but fret wear is minimal. A great bluegrass banjo ready for its next assignment.
