Details
Taylor’s Grand Pacific was the company’s foray into the world of slope-shoulder dreadnoughts. This body shape was introduced alongside Taylor’s successful V-Class bracing, which gives these guitars impressive sustain and a very even response across the fingerboard. This example was built in 2021 and is very clean overall, with the exception of one pressure ding on the treble side of the top near the lower binding. It’s somewhat unusual to see one of these without a factory ES2 pickup, which makes it a great option if you primarily play acoustically, or if you’d prefer a clean slate to add the pickup of your choice. This 317 features Sapele back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top, giving it a strong fundamental focus and midrange presence that works well for just about any playing style. It comes with its original Taylor brown paisley Grand Pacific hardshell case.
