Details
The Trinity College TM-375 Bouzouki is crafted with a solid spruce top and solid maple back and sides. This example is in excellent, lightly played condition with almost no fret wear. The flat-backed Irish bouzouki has been a part of traditional Celtic music since the early 1960s and over the decades it has made appearances in a variety of other musical styles, as well. It’s played in several tunings with the two most popular being GDAD, which used for rhythmic accompaniment, and GDAE (low to high), which is one octave lower than a mandolin and used for more melodic playing. The two lower courses are strung with high octave strings like a 12-string guitar. Includes the original hardshell case.
