Details
At first glance it appears this Gibson A model has a matt finish, but on closer inspection that low gloss surface is the result of a very fine pattern of crazing lines in the original shellac varnish. Straight neck and very playable, with lots of volume and a nice gutsy tone. The only nitpick we should mention is that at some point the lower portion of back was loose from the sides, on either side of the tailblock. The looseness was glued without getting the surfaces quite perfectly aligned, but it's something you have to look for to notice. No cracks, no significant dings or damage.
