Here's a great sounding 1930s Gibson L-7 that looks like it’s lived its life on the bandstand and not under a bed. Except for the changed tuners and missing pick-guard it's quite original, with original finish throughout. Yep, there's lots of playing wear, but a recent refret means it plays easily and delivers lots of that single-note clarity and chordal oomph these models are known for. This version has the “window pane” inlays, one of our favorite looks. The top is x-braced. The only crack is the one in the top, which has been repaired (the discoloration to the finish is from the pickguard's celluloid off-gassing before it gave up and returned to "fumes and crumbles." Very comfy neck profile that will make any player accustomed to contemporary guitars feel right at home. In cludes two cases, the orgigal “Red Line,” which is a bit scruffy but in good shape and recent vintage TKL. The original pickguard is included, but it has started outgassing but the mounting hardware is in good shape.
