Details
Classic mid-'50s D-18, with the mahogany D clarity and crunch that flatpickers crave. Original finish throughout, original pickguard and bridge, all internal bracing is original including bridge plate. Tuners are repro versions of the Kluson Deluxe gears it had originally. Has had a proper neck reset and refret, plus repair to 4-inch back crack and long side crack to upper bout on bass side. Shorter cracks to lower bout on both sides also repaired. Thankfully the neck is crack-free and only top crack is a 1 1/2" hairline near binding on treble side lower bout. Lacquer crazing is mostly confined to the top, photos show the playing wear around soundhole and nicks and dings to finish on back and sides.
