Details
This 54 years-old D-35 plays like a new model, thanks to a neck reset and refret done here, but it sounds like a Martin that's seen a lot of playing hours. Original finish throughout, and the only crack is the short pickguard shrinkage version under the high E string. Original tuners and bridge, and the original pickguard has been reglued (solving the shrinkage crack issue). Some loose binding was also reglued. Despite its age there's very little surface wear to the back, sides, and neck. You can see some wear to the top above the pickguard in these photos and some assorted nicks and small dings, but all fall in the "honest wear" category and this is a very attractive vintage D-35 and one that delivers a lot of volume without much effort.
