Details
This Larrivee L-09 was made in 1995 in Larrivee's Victoria, BC workshop. Jean Larrivee began his career building classical guitars and his L series of steel strings include elements that recall that heritage such as the rounded upper and lower bout, rosewood body binding and the lack of inlays in the ebony fretboard. This guitar has a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood sides and back, and it’s bound in maple. It’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. The frets show a little wear and the clear pickguard barely shows any finger scuffs. This is a sweet sounding guitar with a great bass to treble balance and it responds equally well to a light fingerstyle technique or more robust flatpicking. Includes a hardshell case.
