This is from the first year of production for what turned out to be Martin's best-selling Vintage Series model for several years. It's been played quite a lot so their are some nicks and dings to the finish on the top, but a recent professional refret means it plays like a new guitar. With the exception of the frets, and pickup, it's original throughout. No cracks or sign of other repairs. Maybe it's the result of all those playing hours, we're not sure, but this example has a warmer, deeper bottom end than you expect from a short-scale 000. A great sounding, and playing, 000 nearing its 27th birthday.
