Details
Sometimes less really is more, and this unassuming Bourgeois OM is a fine example. No herringbone, no pearl inlays, Kluson-style tuners, your eyes may not be impressed but when you play it your ears take over. It's like a really good OM-18 but with koa instead of mahogany, with richer bass tones as a result. This is #15 of 15 in a "Luthier's Choice Series" and you have to wonder if Dana saved something best for last. It's in nearly perfect condition with almost zero fret wear, so you know it didn't wind up sounding good because it was hammered for years. For the player who is fond of OMs, this one has it all.
