Details
It's not every day that we see pointy V-shaped guitars here at Gryphon, particularly ones adorned with a blue ghost flame paint job. But we are always happy to offer a well-made guitar, and this USA-made Jackson V KV2 is certainly that. If you're looking for a fast-playing metal machine, you can’t do better than this. The 12”-16” compound-radius fingerboard and jumbo frets make bending notes anywhere on the neck a breeze.
The Seymour Duncan TB-4 bridge pickup delivers hot, overdriven, screamin’ leads, while the lower-output Seymour Duncan SH-4 neck pickup cleans up beautifully for sweet, mellow tones. The body is crafted from korina with a maple neck. The fretboard is ebony with pearl shark-fin inlays. Overall, this guitar is in fine structural and cosmetic condition. There is just a little fret wear.
And if you’ve always wanted a guitar with a real, solid Floyd Rose tremolo—perfect for pull-backs, dive-bombs, and flutters—this just might be the one. It comes with its original rectangular case.
