Details
It’s no secret that we’re big fans of mandolins with oval soundholes here at Gryphon and we’re always happy to see one from now-retired luthier Steve Andersen, who was one of the first modern luthiers to revive the style. This A-Style oval Hole was built in 2002 and it’s in lightly played condition with just a small amount of fret wear. Andersen’s mandolins are known for precise, balanced tone and lots of clarity and this instrument has those qualities but with a more open tone than his f-hole models. Includes a rectangular Cedar Creek with inner plush "lap blanket" and a cordura Small Dog case cover.
