Details
This Breedlove Quartz OO was built in Tumalo, Oregon in 2004 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. The frets show a little wear but they are in otherwise fine shape. This mandolin has the design aesthetic pioneered by Kim Breedlove and his brother Larry, which takes the classic styles of the past and gives them a modern twist. This mandolin is crafted with a Sitka spruce for the top, and Western maple for the back, sides, and neck and has label signed by Kim Breedlove. The Quartz OO is finished in blond satin finish. The fretboard is radiused and is inlaid with pearl dots. We have always been fond of the American-made Breedlove mandolins, as they have proven to be consistent in quality and tone. Includes the original hardshell case.
