Details
This OME Sweetgrass was made in 2005 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. This has OME’s Siverspun tone ring, which is similar to the tone rings used in Bacon & Day Silverbell banjos of the '20s and '30s. From the inside of the shell it looks similar to the Gibson-style flathead tone ring, but this is a lighter ring of nickel-plated spun brass, not heavy cast bronze. The Silverspun tone ring gives a sweeter, more airy tone. The neck is made of beautiful curly maple with OME's typically subtle shading. This has only very minor fret wear. Comes with its original hardshell case.
