Details
There's just something about a SJ-200. The combination of the large, curved body silhouette, the distinctive pearl inlays and that over-the-top but still perfect bridge shape are hard to resist. And then there's the way they sound, especially if you like the percussive whomp you can get when playing rhythm. Although it's 20 years old, this blond example clearly hasn't seen much use and from finish to frets it appears to be in near-mint condition. Thanks to scalloped top bracing this has that classic jumbo rumble tone, perfect for a wide range of styles where a strong percussive bass response is needed. And of course Rev Gary Davis showed us all what a SJ-200 could do for fingerstyle blues. Comes with the original hardshell case.
