Gryphon is not typically known for selling celebrity owned guitars, but a local customer presented this to us and we thought we could have some fun with it.
Fortus has spent the last 30 years as a highly sought after studio/touring guitarist for a wide range of artists that include Thin Lizzy, Rihanna and most notably Guns N' Roses, for whom he still tours with to this day.
This is a Custom Shop Reissue of a 1960 Les Paul Special finished in gloss black. The guitar has light to moderate play wear. There are light finish scratches throughout, some pick scratches above the pickguard, and some buckle rash.
The guitar currently has Lollar P-90's installed and includes the original hardshell case that has tape in a few spots from previous touring.
Also included is a signed COA and pictures of Richard holding the guitar, which also bears his signature on the back
