Details
This Duesenberg Mike Campbell II Hollow Body was made in 2013 and it’s in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. This guitar is a collaboration between Duesenberg and everybody’s favorite rock and roll sideman Mike Cambell. The guitar is based on the Starplayer TV and features a sleek metallic red finish adorned with racing inspired twin stripes. It’s fitted with Duesenberg’s in-house hardware which includes their “Smooth-Z” locking tuners and their signature P-90 single coil pickups. The tone of this guitar can best be described as bright, and crystal-clear, naturally lending itself to eclectic blues-based Americana. The pickups can be pushed to its extremities thanks to the “secret-weapon” 10db booster circuit controlled by the provocatively named “Destructo-knob”. Cosmetically this guitar is in excellent condition. There are some tiny instances of natural play ware and negligible patina to the nickel hardware but otherwise the instrument is free from any unsightly cosmetic imperfections. Includes the original hardshell case.
