Here's a custom Santa Cruz OM with a long list of special features, such as African Blackwood back & sides, old-growth redwood top, and highly figured koa binding on all edges of both the body and the neck, plus a koa rosette ring. Gold Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons finish the list. This has been played, there's very very light fret wear on the lower frets. Only the lightest possible lines in the gloss lacquer from careful use over the last nine years, and some lacquer shrinkage over the center seam of the back (this wouldn't even be noticeable on a mahogany or koa guitar, but the Blackwood is so dark the surface is like a mirror). Interesting variation on the typically warm rosewood SCGC OM tone, with lots of sparkle in trebles and amazing sustain.
