This Eastman MD604 was built in 2016 and it’s in excellent structural condition. Overall, the finish is in fine shape with just a few minor signs of having been played. There is just a tiny amount of fret wear. This model has a full gloss finish and ivoroid binding on the body, neck and headstock. It’s fitted with Schertler Resocoil pickup. We’re big fans of oval soundhole mandolins here at Gryphon, and think that their characteristic warm, bubbly tone is perfectly suited to Celtic styles, old-time string band music, jazz and just about any style that doesn’t demand a percussive bark like bluegrass does. Includes the original hardshell case, which is in equally clean condition.
