Details
This Taylor 912ce was made in 2014 and the back and sides are Indian rosewood and the top is Sitka spruce. It features the Grand Concert body size, which gives it a well-balanced tone that is well-suited to fingerpicking. The distinctive fretboard inlay was designed by Bob Taylor and named after his wife, Cindy. When he was working on the inlay, Bob asked his friend, the banjo maker Greg Deering if he had any ideas. After poring over numerous pages of inlays, Taylor settled on a floral motif that was inspired by a tattoo design that Deering had inlaid into a banjo fingerboard. This guitar is in excellent structural and cosmetic condition. There are couple of small dings in the top that don't show in the photos but are visible in person. The frets have just a minor amount of wear. Includes the original hardshell Taylor case.
