Details
This GS Mini-e Bass was made in Taylor’s Tecate, Mexico factory in 2017. It’s in excellent, lightly played condition with just a hint of fret wear. The top is solid Sitka spruce and the back and sides are layered sapele. The GS Mini-e Bass delivers an amazing amount of low end rumble in a tiny package that’s compact, lightweight and easy to play. This bass has a 23-1/2-inch scale length — about 10 inches shorter than the scale length of a standard bass guitar. This short scale works because of the custom nylon-core strings (with phosphor bronze wrap wire) Taylor developed in partnership with D’Addario. With the condensed fret spacing, playing bass is now physically easier on anyone’s hands, from kids to bass newbies to seasoned bass players craving a couch-friendly option. It’s an inspiring tool to have on hand for writing, recording demos, and jamming with friends. The bass comes equipped with Taylor’s ES-B onboard electronics, along with a structured gig bag featuring adjustable backpack straps for easy portability.
