Details
This Fender Fat ‘50s Strat was crafted by Master Builder Dennis Galuszka in 2018. It has an alder body with 1956 contours. The Brazilian rosewood neck has a 7.25"–9.5" compound-radius fingerboard and a '57 Style Soft "V"-shape. It’s fitted with three hand-wound Fat ‘50s single-coil pickups and a 5-way switch. The middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity with a Fat '50s hookup with a 10% taper split tone. The body has a Lake Placid Blue nitrocellulose lacquer finish with the Journeyman level of aging. All of that to say, this is one of the sweetest sounding, easy playing Strats we’ve had in ages. The Masterbuilt series of guitars continues to impress us. This example is in excellent structural condition and we assume the scuffs and dings are factory standard. There is just a hint of fret wear. Includes the original tweed case, COA and other assorted bits of case candy.
NOTE: Fender does not have CITES documentation for the Brazilian rosewood neck so we will not be able to ship this outside of the US.
