This Custom Shop ’59 Telecaster Custom captures the look and vibe of a transitional era for the Telecaster. By 1959, the model was already the go-to workhorse, but Fender added some style with the debut of the Telecaster Custom, sporting a double-bound body and a slab rosewood fingerboard. Aside from the familiar 1-ply white pickguard from prior years, these were all fresh touches for a guitar ready to step into a new decade. The neck has a comfortable ’59 large “C” profile and a vintage 7.25"-9.5" compound radius, paired with medium vintage frets for easy playability. Hand-wound ’58 Tele pickups with Fat ’50s wiring deliver open, dynamic tone, while the NOS chocolate 3-color sunburst finish, and Closet Classic hardware add just the right touch of age. This guitar is in excellent structural condition with only light wear not added by the factory. Includes its original hardshell case and COA.
