Details
Players have been putting humbuckers in the neck position on Telecasters for ages. Keith Richards, Andy Summers and studio legend Bob Bain are just a few of the players who have taken advantage of the versatility this upgrade enables. This American Performer Telecaster Humbucker is Fender’s take on this popular modification, with a Yosemite single-coil bridge pickup and a Tim Shaw designed Double Tap humbucker in the neck position. There is a push/pull pot which activates a coil split on the Double Tap. The tone control has a Greasebucket circuit that rolls off the highs without adding bass. The body is alder and the maple modern C-shaped neck has 9.5” radius. This guitars was made in 2020 in Corona, California and it’s in excellent structural condition. The sunburst finish is in good shape with a few nicks and scuffs here and there. Includes a Fender gig bag.
