This ‘60s inspired Custom Shop Telecaster comes with a superb Journeyman Relic’d Butterscotch finish. While this tele certainly nails the unmistakable look of early the 60’s the addition of a contemporary inspired Modern “C” neck provides a slick, easy to play profile that pairs quite well with the vintage 7.25” radius. In terms of electronics, the original neck pickup has been swapped out in favor of a stellar sounding Throbak T54 that delivers a pleasing vintage sound with a soothing warm clarity. The original HW 63 neck pickup is included in the case.
As with all relics its hard to tell what wear was done organically and what was done in the shop. All evidence suggests that this guitar was well maintained. The frets are in excellent condition with only a whisper of wear and the neck is free of dings, divots or scratches. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case and COA included!
