Details
We’ve been lucky enough to have had quite a few of Fender’s Custom Shop guitars come through the store, and we have been impressed with all of them. This particular beauty is a nicely done replica of a 1951 Nocaster. Like the original versions, this guitar has a very chunky but comfortable U-shape maple neck. This one has a 7.25" to 9.5" compound radius. It’s fitted with hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard single coils, which have enamel-coated magnet wire, flat pole pieces, Alnico III magnets, cloth output wire, and tin-plated copper base plate just like the originals. The wiring is the original Nocaster-style with a blender pot. This guitar has been heavily aged so it’s difficult to say what the cosmetic condition is. This is a light guitar and weighs in at 7.64 lbs. This is a fitting tribute to a classic guitar design. Includes the original tweed case, COA and “ashtray” bridge cover.
