This Martin Custom Shop Dreadnought was made in 2022 and it’s in excellent, lightly played condition. There are just a few microscopic signs of having been played and the frets show almost no wear. This guitar is based on the current version of the standard D-28 and has that model’s non-scalloped but forward shifted X-bracing, which delivers a rich, but focused bass response. The back and sides are Wild Grain Indian Rosewood and the top is Sitka spruce. The headstock overlay is matching Wild Grain Indian Rosewood with an inlaid abalone script logo.
Other custom features include figured koa binding & heelcap; a Style 45 abalone rosette and backstrip; and snowflake inlays on the fretboard. It has a factory installed active Fishman Gold Plus Natural 1 pickup that takes care of those times when you choose to plug it in. This is an easy playing, sweet sounding dreadnought with some elegant cosmetic upgrades. The original hardshell case is in equally clean condition.
