Details
The Gibson Hummingbird Studio Rosewood is a modern take on the brand’s iconic square-shoulder dreadnought. This model offers a streamlined, "stripped-down" aesthetic without the extra frills, but with all the same mojo of the original. Like most Hummingbirds, this guitar features a Sitka Spruce top, but it departs from the standard mahogany back and side version, and replaces it with Indian Rosewood back and sides. The result is it excellent low-end response and rich overtones. The Advanced Response neck profile is a great midsized shape, and is comfortable and easy-to-play. For the performing musician, this model comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup, which is a high-quality, active under-saddle piezo system. This particular example is exceptionally clean with no noticeable playwear. A perfect choice for any player seeking a like-new workhorse guitar. It includes its original Gibson-branded black hardshell case.
