Details
The 914ce has long been a favorite among the customers and staff here at Gryphon. The Builders Edition version takes this already elegant model and makes it even more so. This iteration is loaded with refined, comfort-enhancing playing features including chamfered body edges, a beveled armrest, a beveled cutaway, and a contoured Curve Wing bridge. It also features an upgraded Redwood top and Honduran rosewood back and sides, making for a warm and balanced tonewood combination. The Grand Auditorium body shape responds equally well to delicate fingerpicking and robust strumming, making it a versatile guitar. You might think it would be hard to improve on this modern classic but the Builder’s Edition 914ce adds some very enticing features that do indeed make this good thing even better. This one, being a couple of years old, is very clean. It hasn’t had much playtime, and the frets are in almost-new shape. If you’re looking for a fantastic-sounding 900 series Taylor that also looks incredible, this one is an exceptional choice. It comes with its original hardshell case.
