Details
Paul Beard has earned a reputation for making some of the finest resonator guitars out there and you can find his elegantly designed, impeccably crafted instruments in the hands of A-list players like Jerry Douglas, Anders Beck and the late Mike Auldridge. But in the past few years, some players have been intrigued by the designs and tones of guitars from the 1930s. Paul’s Deco Phonic line are inspired the guitars that were coming out of Chicago and California during the Great Depression and they blend vintage styling and tone with modern functionality. These Deco Phonic models are made by the same small crew as Beard’s fancier models. This roundneck Model 37 has the Fishman Nashville pickup system installed from the factory.
