We've always been fans of Collings' Style 3 models, partly because the appointments don't repeat any specific Martin models but mostly because regardless of the body size Style 3 has a refined and elegant aesthetic. This 12-fret 0003 is a fine example, and thanks to the bridge being close to the middle of the soundboard it also delivers a warmer tone with more bass response than you hear from a typical 14-fret OM. Whether you're playing it or just enjoying the beautiful wood and legendary fit-and-finish, this 0003 represents the best of Collings's acoustic side.
