Details
The CTF 1959 is part of Creek’s “Time Machine Series,” a semi-hollow electric designed to capture the look, feel, and responsiveness of the guitars coming out of Kalamazoo in the late 1950s. It has a 50s-style center block and a laminated maple top, back, and sides, with torrefied bracing making it light and resonant. The neck is expertly carved to a comfortable mid-1950s shape and is accompanied by rolled fingerboard edges. The Madagascar rosewood fretboard feels great under the fingers and looks fantastic. Along with their expert lutherie skills, Creek designs and hand-winds their own pickups. These PAF-style humbuckers are voiced to perfectly for this build, offering clear tone with a rich midrange and lively dynamics. If you’re after a semi-hollow with vintage character, modern reliability, and thoughtful vintage aesthetics, the Creek CTF 1959 delivers in every way. It includes a Boblen hardshell case.
