Details
Waylon Jennings playing his Telecaster through a phase shifter is one of the classic sounds of the 1970s and 1980s. Jennings used a variety of phasers on his records and in concert and the Fender Waylon Jennings Phaser does a great job of harnessing his wide range of tones in a single box.
This unit has three distinct flavors: a subtle two stage setting, a moderately swirly four stage setting and a wild, wobbly six stage setting. These modes can be modified by a set of Range, Rate, and Feedback controls that allow you dial in Jennings tone or let you find a sound all your own. One very cool feature is the Sweet Switch, which lets you jump to a "sweet spot" that mixes clean with phase-shifting tones. This is versatile unit that can help you create the classic outlaw country sound of Waylon Jennings and a lot more besides.
