Details
Although it's beautiful to look at, the proof is in the playing with this Custom Shop OM. We're guessing it's the torrified spruce top (a process Martin calls VTS, for "Vintage Tone System), but whatever it is sure works. We don't usually rave about tone, as it's so subjective, but what we're raving about here is the balance between bass, midrange and treble, and how easy it is to get chords to sound like one cohesive yet complex note. Of course even simple melodies benefit from being played on this kind of guitar but it's with chord voicings that it really shines.
We hope you can come in and give this Custom Shop OM a try, and please let us know what you think.
