This special edition GS Mini features custom top art in a floral on a sky-blue background. It has a solid torrefied spruce top generates a punchy paired with layered sapele back and sides, which gives this guitar a clear, focused tone with a strong treble response. The Taylor GS Mini Sapele is the least expensive entry of Gryphon's most popular guitar series, but it sounds and plays like a million bucks.

The GS Mini is available in a number of acoustic or acoustic-electric configurations. The tops are all made of solid tonewoods and include spruce, mahogany or koa. The back and sides are made of layered tonewoods and include sapele, koa and rosewood. They all have different tonal personalities but the finger-friendly 23 1/2 inch scale and easy string action are consistent throughout the line.
